Residents of Roundway retirement scheme, Honley, enjoyed a trip on the Scarborough Flyer

RESIDENTS of Roundway retirement scheme, Honley, enjoyed a trip on the Scarborough Flyer, on July 27.

The historic locomotive, pulled by the 1938 steam engine the Duchess of Sutherland, took 63 residents from Brighouse to Scarborough.

Both the Scarborough Flyer and Duchess of Sunderland formerly served as trains for the royal family.
