MORE than 300 people turned out for a fundraising day at Salendine Nook High School in aid of Cystic Fibrosis Trust.

Simon Cottrell, who organised the event, with his mother-in-law Laura Tyler and her daughter Zoe (all pictured) said it had been a great day with hopefully more than £2,000 raised.

The attractions included 11 fun fair rides, live music, a well-attended beer tent and stall by Yorkshire Air Ambulance.

Simon, who works for the NHS, said: "Music is blaring out, the beer is flowing and everyone has been having a good time.

"Thank-you to everyone for turning up".
