HONLEY High School has won a careers award.

The school gained the Calderdale and Kirklees Careers and Quality Standard in Careers Education Information Advice and Guidance Award.

The school was rigorously assessed and had to pass 11 various criteria to ensure that the support for their students was effective and at its best.

The head of CEIAG, Andrea Hindson, said: “We at Honley are very lucky to have Krystyna Tipple, the Connexions PA.

“She is highly respected among the staff and students and she definitely helped the school’s chances of getting this award.”
