A FREE community event is set to lay out plans for a village’s future.
Shelley Community Association is set to host a day of fun activities at the village hall next Saturday from 11am to 4pm.
The day will also feature a special exhibition to launch the Shelley Village Plan.
The vision for the village has been taken on by a team of volunteers following a comprehensive study of residents’ likes and dislikes about living in their village.
It will become the blueprint for future progress in Shelley and will include plans on how the community will work with outside agencies.
Alongside the exhibition many of the groups that use the hall will be there to add to the fun with free balloons, badges and free tea, coffee and juice throughout the day.
