Pub staff and customers are raising their glasses after boosting a charity by thousands of pounds.
The Peacock pub in Leeds Road, Deighton, raised £3,540 for Cancer Research UK.
Punters and local businesses contributed to several fundraising events organised over the last three months.
Daredevil customers Jovan and Shugie Watson took on a sponsored skydive in Blackpool.
Regular Richard Wagler organised a prize auction, while a banger racing fanatic and the pub’s pool teams help boost the fundraising total.
Local firms Morrison Utility Services, Mitchell Butchers, Vanilla hairdressers and Booker Cash and Carry, also showed their support.
The money has been presented to representatives from the leading charity.
Landlady Faber Egan said that her customers were inspired to take action after three were affected by the disease.
She said: “Three of our customers have got cancer, one has breast cancer, another has lung cancer and one has skin cancer.
“We thought that if we supported this charity then we could help everybody rather than for just one individual cancer.
“We want to thank our wonderful customers and their families who have been really generous with their support”.
