Students at North Huddersfield Trust School in Fartown have embraced all aspects of digital learning and are now award-winning learners.

North Huddersfield Trust School has been awarded a platinum award for the usage and engagement of online software SAM Learning.

SAM Learning is a study tool which allows students to top up their knowledge on subjects across the whole curriculum.

Head of ICT at the school, Qamar Bashir, coordinates the scheme and is thrilled with the award. He said: “We are delighted that our students have been recognised for their willingness to go the extra mile in improving their knowledge. This is a fantastic achievement and the certificate will be displayed proudly in our school.”

The award is awarded based on both the percentage of the school who are active members and the average number of hours of study per student.

North Huddersfield Trust school is one of only 28 schools in the country that have been awarded this prestigious award, and it’s all thanks to the students’ hard work.
