WATCHING the C4 documentary about the Second World War Japanese suicide pilots who killed many thousand US and British sailors one can only wonder how these men could be brainwashed to kill themselves and others in the name of religion.
It is now over 60 years since this happened, yet nothing has really changed. We still have men (and women) who are prepared to kill not only themselves but as many others as they can, all in the name of some religion. It was said that due to the number of ships that were lost and men who were killed the American Government decided to drop the atom bomb. Let us all hope that one of the countries that has nuclear weapons doesn’t decide to do the same.
