THE fifth annual Moonraker charity beer festival is set to be bigger and better than ever before with more than 30 guest ales to appear on tap.
Slaithwaite Conservative Club will be hosting the event and have been heavily supported by local businesses which have donated barrels of beer for the event.
With all proceeds from the plentiful pints on offer going to Home Valley Mountain Rescue and local Lions charities, landlady Carol Hey feels confident that the event will beat the £5,000 raised last year.
Carol said: “We have had more support than ever before this year and are hoping to sell even more beer.
“With every penny from every pint going to charity we strongly encourage the local community to come down and join us.”
The festival will take place on November 12, 13 and 15 at the Slaithwaite Conservative Club and has been organised with the Colne Valley Lions charity organisation.
