ON behalf of the Honley and Huddersfield Branch of Leukaemia Research I want to thank all the staff and customers of Tracy Peto’s (formerly Alan’s) hairdressing salon in Honley for raising the magnificent total of £3,217 over the past 18 months for our charity.
Tracy and all her staff work extremely hard all year round to raise this money and over the years have raised a considerable sum for us. Our branch is truly grateful for their continued support over the years. This year’s contribution will allow us to send a further £5,000 to head office, making our total raised in this area this year over £15,000.
Leukaemia Research is a national charity, but any progress that is made into cures and better treatment is brought back to Huddersfield via the local hospital. So it is vital to everyone that we continue to raise people’s awareness and make money to allow this vital work to carry on.
