Thanks to the church

A GAS leak outside Garden Court sheltered housing at Lockwood meant all the elderly tenants had to be evacuated.

We would like to say a big thank you to St Stephen’s Church, which kindly opened its doors and offered refuge to all. Hot tea and coffee was provided and Yorkshire Housing, who own Garden Court, provided fish and chips. After about four hours the problem was fixed and everyone was allowed home.
