NINETEEN-year-old, Daniel Sinclair, has long been looked up to by younger juniors at Thongsbridge Tennis Club, who aspire to reach his impressive level.

Daniel (pictured above) is now occupying a place in the UK men’s top 100, and is now looking towards getting himself a world ranking.

And with this in mind, Daniel headed to Glasgow to play in his first international 15k futures event, where some fine tennis saw him narrowly lose in a tight match in the second round of the qualifying draw.

And last weekend in Cardiff, he again reached the second round of qualifying, before succumbing to strong opposition in another close match.

It’s a promising start for this talented youngster, who will no doubt build on his recent experiences.
