DISGRACED councillor Tony Brice has been thrown out of the Conservative group.
The LIndley councillor, convicted last week of benefit fraud, has been ousted by the party in Kirklees.
He took his seat at last night’s meeting of Kirklees Council as an independent and can remain on the authority.
Brice, 67, of Highfields, will be sentenced for the crimes in January.
