TRIBUTES have poured in over the weekend for murder victim Josh Hirst.
The 20-year-old Mirfield man was stabbed to death close to his home late on Friday.
Police have arrested two men on suspicion of murder and a woman on suspicion of assisting an offender.
The men, aged 21 and 18, and the 22-year-old woman remained in custody last night.
The scene of the crime in Hepworth Lane, Mirfield, remained sealed off yesterday but local people have been paying tribute to the victim with flowers left close to the spot where he was stabbed.
Friends of the victim took to social networking site Twitter to express their sadness, with tributes coming from as far afield as Ibiza.
One friend, named Rebecca, said: “Horrible news. RIP Josh, thoughts are with your friends and family.”
Vikash Singh said: “You was and still are my best friend, such fun and didn’t have a bad bone in you.”
Sean McKenzie wrote: “RIP one of best mates. Only 3 week ago we was ripping it up in Malia always love you bro xxxxxx.”
