Cash for good causes

UP to £500 is available for community groups courtesy of the Longley Farm Fund. The fund, named after the Holmfirth dairy, is open to non-profit organisations and charities. The closing date for applications is August 15. Last year, Hepworth Brass Band, Wooldale Community Association, Holme Valley Orchestra, Holmfirth Film Festival and Holmfirth Festival of Folk all received money from the fund.
