AUDIENCES braved the arctic conditions in Skelmanthorpe last month to enjoy the Methodist Wives’ Group annual pantomime, Robin Hood.

The show included songs from shows and a Disney medley. Children loved the unconventional fairy with a pink wig, costume and big fluffy slippers, also Nightmare the Sheriff’s horse – labelled 100% beef.

The panto was written and produced by Granville Stead, who said, “I take my hat off to Skelmanthorpe Wives’ Group for their dedication and support”.

The group thank Granville Stead, all those who took part and also the Skelmanthorpe Brownie who designed the front page of the programme.

The funds raised from the event will go to help local charities and Skelmanthorpe Methodist Church.
