I SEE that Rudyard Kipling’s poem ‘If ’ has been voted Britain’s favourite poem.

The poem starts with the line: “If you can keep your head when all about you are losing theirs”.

I tend to agree with the school of thought that this means you have seriously misjudged the situation.
