TALENTED pupils have been praised for their artwork which has helped raise money for a children’s hospice.
Youngsters from years four and five at Wooldale Junior School entered their designs in a calendar competition, run by Leeds-based solicitors Walker Morris.
Four pupils had their work chosen to represent months in the charity calendar – in aid of Martin House Hospice, Wetherby.
Another pupil’s artwork was chosen for the front cover, while four students were also chosen as runners-up.
FINE ART: The successful pupils are seen with pages of the calendar displaying their work. With them are art co-ordinators Rebecca Starrett (left) and Jane Hilton, teachers at the school Picture by Andy Catchpool (AC200112Bwool-01)
