The young enterprising owners of Marsden’s newest bar have thanked residents for their help in making their dream come true.
Sophie Byram, 23, and Ryan Clifford, 27, started taking orders at their Peel Street bar and cocktail lounge in April, after months of hard work.
Now it attracts drinkers from the neighbourhood and further afield and the pair have more plans for the future. Ryan, who juggles bar work with his job as a decorator, said: “It’s been hard work and we were working seven days a week but it’s paid off and now it’s going really well.
“We’ve got a great cross-section of customers and hope it will attract more young people who want a night out in the village instead of heading into town and we’re really glad of the support we’ve had so far.”
