A MAN took his own life after having marital problems, an inquest heard.
Leslie Norman Brook, 56, was discovered hanged in his father’s garage in Birkhouse Lane, Moldgreen, on May 28.
An inquest in Huddersfield yesterday heard Mr Brook had been staying with his father for a few days since the breakdown of his marriage with his wife in Bedfordshire.
The inquest heard evidence from Mr Brook’s father who told how his son had been in a ‘low mood’ due to the situation but on the evening before his death had not said anything out of the ordinary.
The following day Mr Brook senior returned home at lunchtime to find his son dead in the garage.
Coroner Mary Burke said there was evidence of a degree of planning and concluded Mr Brook killed himself.
