“HE knew the risks but was willing to face them.”
These were the words of a minister as Afghan war hero Graham Shaw (pictured) was laid to rest at home in Golcar.
And Canon Martyn Crompton added: “We remember a young man killed in his prime doing the job he loved.”
Mr Crompton conducted a moving service at St John’s Church, with over 1,000 mourners in church and on the streets.
