SKUNK cannabis worth more than £80,000 has been found at a house in Huddersfield.
A 40-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply class B drugs following a raid on the property on Blackmoorfoot Road, Crosland Moor, yesterday.
Sgt Ian Thornes, of the specialist Operation Quartz drugs team, said: “We have recovered 10kg of skunk cannabis with a street value in excess of £80,000 from a relatively small growing area.
“From the outside there was nothing to suggest anything illegal was going on.
“If the people of Kirklees continue to be vigilant we will continue to take quantities of this size off the streets.”
Anyone with information about drugs or guns should call police on 01484 436609 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.
