AROUND 1,500 bikers are to descend on Greetland early next month.
The motorcycle rally has been organised by the Hebden Bridge-based Bridge Rats Motorcycle Club and will run from Friday, August 3 to Sunday, August 5. It will include bands and games.
Many will be camping at Heath Rugby Club and using the nearby Traveller’s Rest pub on Stainland Road in Greetland.
The pub is now thriving under new management led by Peter Hutton after a previous pub manager, 29-year-old Paul Eastwood, from Greetland, narrowly avoided jail for stealing cash and stock. He was given a 12-month community order.
