A TEENAGER had his nose broken by a gang armed with a broom handle and a chain.

The 16-year-old had to be taken to hospital after he was attacked at Walkley Lane in Heckmondwike.

He was walking back to his home in Dewsbury when a gang of 10 youths attacked.

He also suffered bruising to his face and back.

Police want to speak to witnesses of the attack, which happened between 9.45pm and 10pm on February 6.

They are especially keen to talk to four men in a car who stopped to help.
