HUDDERSFIELD Law Society president Jeremy Garside welcomed guests to its annual dinner in Elland.
The main speaker at the event was Lucy Scott-Moncrieff, deputy vice-president of the Law Society of England and Wales, who spoke about changes facing the legal profession in the next few years.
She also proposed the toast to the Huddersfield Law Society, to which Mr Garside responded.
The toast to guests was proposed by James Cook, vice president of Huddersfield Law Society.
The response was given by guest speaker James Drife, who is a professor of obstetrics and gynaecology.
The dinner was attended by 190 people and held at Bertie’s Banqueting Suite.
