MORE than £1million in cash, seized during raids in Huddersfield earlier this year, has been forfeited to West Yorkshire Police.

But four people arrested at houses in Crosland Moor where the money was seized will not face prosecution.

Police tests revealed many of the banknotes were contaminated with heroin but there was insufficient evidence to bring a prosecution.

But a court has now ruled the money can be confiscated.
