A MAN has been questioned over a shop robbery in Brighouse.

A MAN has been questioned over a shop robbery in Brighouse.

The 26-year-old, from Bradford, was arrested following the incident at Superdrug on Commercial Street in Brighouse on Saturday, when two 18-year-old girls were bundled into the store and tied up while the safe was ransacked. Several thousand pounds were stolen.

Police are appealing for anyone who saw an L-registered, turquoise Toyota Corina in Brighouse centre before 8am robbery to come forward.
