A FIRERAISER started three blazes close together within minutes.
A bin was found burning at Heckmondwike Road, Dewsbury, at 12.10am today and tackled by police.
Officers then noticed a skip was burning close to a nearby scrapyard and alerted firefighters.
They doused the flames, but were quickly called back to the scrapyard when a skip lorry was seen blazing inside.
Firefighters stopped it from spreading.
Dewsbury fire station crew manager Mark Warrender said: "If this third fire had spread to piles of scrap we could have been dealing with a nasty incident."
