SUPERFIT walkers can take on a 50-mile challenge to raise charity cash.

The circular event on the South Pennine Challenge will be held on May 29 and walkers will have 24 hours to complete the trek.

Teams of four will brave the weather and terrain as they compete for charity.

And there are no losers - all teams will be rewarded with gold, silver or bronze medals depending on the distance they achieve and in what time.

The challenge will begin at Mytholmroyd Community Centre and go on to pass some breathtaking scenery.

Ten checkpoints will be in place.

The challenge aims to raise money for a variety of community projects through the Community Foundation for Calderdale.
