FORMER pupils of a Holmfirth school are holding a reunion to celebrate their 70th birthdays.
Former students of Holmfirth Secondary Modern School are meeting at the Old Bridge Hotel in Holmfirth on October 10.
Attending will be pupils who went to the school – known as The Nabb – between 1949 and 1953.
The reunion will be their second. Some of the class met in 2003 to mark their 65th birthdays.
However, organiser Barbara Kaye is hoping to get classmates who did not attend the last reunion along to this event.
She said: “We know a few people missed out last time. We would like them to have the chance to be there.
“We can catch up on the last five years – or 55 years if they missed the last reunion!”
People attending are asked to bring any school memorabilia, photographs or books to the event.
