DETECTIVES today warned that anyone who helped two men wanted over the shooting of a West Yorkshire police officer faced prosecution.

The news follows the announcement that reward money leading to the arrest of the fugitives now totals £90,000.

Police urged people not to help 24-year-old Muzzaker Imtiaz Shah and 25-year-old Mustaf Jamma - the two men named as the prime suspects for the murder of Pc Sharon Beshenivsky.

The hunt for the fugitives is focusing on airports and ferry ports, including searching vehicles.

The news came two weeks after the 38-year-old officer was gunned down as she investigated a robbery in Bradford.

Her colleague, Pc Theresa Milburn, of Birstall, was wounded in the same raid.

Jamma's 19-year-old brother Yusuf Abdillh Jamma has already appeared in court charged with the police officer's murder.
