YOUNGSTERS proved to their parents they've got Easter cracked!

Talented pupils of Kirkburton CE First School created eye-catching egg decorations and Easter bonnets.

More than 60 of the younger children at the school took part in an Easter bonnet parade, watched by parents.

Older children decorated eggs with an Easter theme.

Head teacher Jeff Trigg said both the youngsters and their parents had enjoyed the celebrations.

"The pupils who made Easter bonnets did it as homework and parents really got a chance to get involved," he said. "The children came up with some great designs. Those who decorated eggs were really creative and they too came up with some great designs."
