KIRKBURTON residents have somewhere to put their feet up following the installation of a new bench.
The new street bench arrived yesterday to take up residence near an old well in North Road.
Kirklees Council paid for the replacement after the former seat, fell into a bad state of repair.
It had been taken away during road improvement work earlier in the year.
The new bench is cast iron and timber, made to blend in with the surrounding conservation area.
