BLUE are hoping to perform to a sell-out crowd on Saturday.

There are very few tickets left in the reserved seating area for the McAlpine gig, and with general admission tickets selling fast, fans will need to act fast if they want to be a part of this event.

Concert promoter Matthew Timmins said: "People need to book fast to avoid disappointment. With only a few days left to go, ticket sales are really soaring and Blue, Girls Aloud and Darius have really proved a massive attraction for people from all over the region."

Also on the bill are boyband Phixx with Greetland singer Nikk Mager and 14- year-old pop singer Sasha Armani, of Netherton.

The concert will mark the 10th anniversary of the stadium and during the event the new name for the stadium will be announced.

A big party atmosphere will be created with the help of circus act, Swamp Circus.

A coach load of fans are coming from London and other groups are booked in from Cumbria and from Germany.

Tickets for the concert are available from www.bluein town.co.uk or by calling 01484 541199.
