AGE Concern has changed its name to Age UK.

And our local branch will now be called Age UK Calderdale and Kirklees.

To celebrate the new name, the charity has also launched a new website.

By offering a range of services, Age UK aims to improve the quality of life for all older people across Calderdale and Kirklees.

Although affiliated to Age UK nationally, they are a separate charity as all services are provided and funded locally for the benefit of local people.

Colin Cromack of Age UK Calderdale and Kirklees said “Lots of people think that Age UK is one big organisation, but we are a local charity for local people.

“We try to provide services that are useful for older people in Calderdale and Kirklees and we hope our new website will make it easier for people to find out about them.”
