Alcohol discovered by police at Greetland hang-out

Police catch youths drinking

ALCOHOL was discovered at a park hang-out used by young people in Elland and Greetland. Officers from the Lower Valley Neighbourhood Policing Team carried out patrols at the park next to Greetland Community and Sports Centre. The young people ran off when they spotted the police, leaving behind four large bottles of wine, a large bottle of cider and some alcopops.Police are continuing to patrol the area and have asked residents to report any further incidents of youths drinking at the park.
