A GANG ran off empty handed after failing to break into an Almondbury house.
The would-be burglars fled after they were seen trying to kick the door in on Highlands Avenue in the early hours of Wednesday.
One was white, aged 19 or 20 and wearing a grey hooded top, a red T-shirt and dark blue, Adidas tracksuit bottoms.
Another was Asian, aged 20 to 30, about 5ft 10ins tall, stocky and wearing a dark tracksuit with a white emblem.
There were two others in hooded tops.
