THE CASE of a teenager accused of allowing her dog to bite a child while out of control has been adjourned again.

Laura Boylan, 18, of Hulbert Croft, Almondbury, is charged with allowing her dog Chico to cause injury while out of control on October 10, 2009.

Pregnant Boylan, who denies the charge, was bailed yesterday to appear for trial before Huddersfield Magistrates on March 22.

Her mother Tracy Sykes, of the same address, is charged with allowing the black and tan cross to wander in public without a lead or collar between June and December 2009.

Sykes, who denies all charges, will appear in a separate case at the same court on April 15.
