A HUDDERSFIELD woman has been contacted from the other side - in the form of a ghost of an ancient Egyptian.

Tina Zaffino, of Cowlersley Lane, Cowlersley, is a Reiki Master Teacher of Alternative Therapies.

She claims to have been contacted by Caesarion, the son of one of the most influential men in world history, Julius Caesar and his wife Cleopatra.

And now she has produced a book The Crime Of Omission - written, claims Mrs Zaffino, at Caesarion's behest.

She claims he has told her his story in a series of bizarre messages.

Mrs Zaffino gives a detailed account of Caesarion, later known as Ptolemy Cesare, told to her by his ghost.

Mrs Zaffino said: "The title says it all. The crime is that throughout history a lot has been written about the great men and women of our times, but nothing of potentially the most powerful child that has ever lived. This diary will hopefully change all that."

She added: "Not one single word of this diary comes from me. For some unknown reason I was chosen by Caesarion to write a true account of his life through him, and that is what I have done."

In the past there has not been a great deal written about Caesarion as it has always been believed that he was murdered shortly after his mother Cleopatra supposedly commit suicide.

But Mrs Zaffino believes otherwise and wants to get the truth across to the public: "Just imagine being woken up in the night to hear the TV on and someone in the room.

"That is the best way I can explain my experiences, only there was no TV on and no-one in the room.

"The images I saw and the voices I heard were as clear as day."

After writing all the information down that Caesarion had given her, Mrs Zaffino decided to research what she had been given. Surprisingly, she found that everything seemed to match and fit in to what she had been told.

"There's so much detail and so much information in the book that I couldn't possible of known without being told by Caesarion himself.

"To many people this will sound utterly ridiculous but I know I am being 100% truthful.

"The visions and voices started in November 2004 and by February 2005 the book was finished, having written over 52,000 words.

"If this wasn't true there's no way I could've researched so much about his life and written it all down in such a short space of time."

Perhaps most controversial is the fact that the diary goes against that of history, claiming that Caesarion lived until he was at least 85 years old and his mother was actually murdered.

American crime profiler and author, Pat Brown, has spent years researching the truth behind Cleopatra's death. She claims she has found concrete evidence which suggests Cleopatra was murdered by Octavian, the future Roman Emperor.

Mrs Zaffino adds: "Now there is finally evidence behind Cleopatra's death I have been chosen to tell the truth about her son's life.

"Caesarion must have entrusted me with the information and felt confident that I would pass it on to people in this life.

"Otherwise, he would not have gone to the bother of contacting me."

Whatever your beliefs, there is no denying that Mrs Zaffino has never been so sure of anything in her life, and is hoping the public will get behind her and take her story seriously.

"People who have read this diary are fascinated by it and know I am telling the truth. It is not something I could possibly make up."
