A DAZZLING array of colours were on show at the annual Skelmanthorpe Chrysanthemum Show.
A total of 28 people competed for the prizes.
Exhibits were up on last year, to more than 130.
Skelmanthorpe and District Chrysanthemum Society chairman Keith Clarkson hailed the show the best for years.
He said: "We had a very great show with a good standard of entry.
"A lot of preparation goes in to making sure everything is right, so it is pleas- ing when it is a success."
The big winner on the day was Eddie Ellis, of Lockwood.
He scooped an impressive eight awards for his flowers.
Prizes were also handed out for vegetables.
