MORE people have been arrested by police investigating an incident in a pub car park, after which one man remains critically ill and two others suffered knife wounds.

Father-of-one Lee Massey suffered serious head injuries when he was in collision with a car when trouble broke out between two groups of men in the car park of the Royal Hotel in Huddersfield Road, Ravensthorpe, on Sunday, October 12.

Police have arrested five men over the last week and they have now all been released on police bail.

This follows five arrests in the immediate aftermath of the incident. Those men have also been released on police bail.

Mr Massey, aged 30, lives in Dewsbury and has a three-year -old daughter.

He was today said to be in a critical condition at Leeds General Infirmary.

The two men who were stabbed were allowed home after hospital treatment.

The trouble involved a group of white men and a group of Iraqi men.
