AFTER the success of its premiere, Huddersfield Town The Musical is being performed in Dewsbury tonight.

The musical received rave reviews after its first show - at the McAlpine Stadium - in May.

It was written by students from the School of Performance and Industries at Bretton Hall College.

There are 15 songs in the show, including one penned by Town fan Frank Appleyard, of Shepley.

The money raised from tonight's show will go to the Supporters' Trust, to help pay for the club's youth academy.

Trust chairman Robert Pepper said: "It is a wonderful, unique show.

"The actors are all very professional. It is a great night out."

Club captain Rob Edwards will be at the performance at Dewsbury Town Hall tonight.

The show is at 7.30pm and tickets will be available on the door.

They are £10 for adults or two for £15. Concessions are £5 and a family ticket costs £20.
