POLICE have pledged to clamp down on anti-social behaviour on particular streets in north Kirklees.
They have revealed that the areas targeted in Hightown include Laverhills, Miry Lane and Hightown Road.
In neighbouring Littletown the target streets are Radulf Gardens, Garden Avenue and Knowler Hill.
The main problems are being caused by loud scooter engines and cars revving excessively and driving at speed.
Police also say they will continue with a high visibility presence on the Greenway between Halifax Road and Union Street, again to reduce anti-social behaviour.
In Gomersal, police aim to catch speeding motorists using Burnleys Mill Estate as a cut through from and onto Cliffe Lane.
