STAFF at a Huddersfield care home need help to find a dry ice machine for a special Christmas show.

On Sunday staff at Lindley Grange will be putting on a Stars In Their Eyes style show for residents.

Stars being impersonated include Tina Turner, Meatloaf, the Blues Brothers and the Mamas and Papas.

Fifteen staff will walk through the doors transformed into their idols before singing their songs.

However, their big moment could be ruined if a dry ice machine cannot be found to create the right "atmosphere" for the grand entrance.

Yasmin Hooper, activities co-ordinator, said: "I haven't been able to find a cheap machine anywhere. I could hire one but it is very expensive for us and we would be really grateful if someone would let us borrow one."

Contact Lindley Grange on 01484 460557, before the end of Saturday.
