POLICE hunting a sex attacker today made a further appeal for potential witnesses to come forward.
A 33-year-old woman was subjected to a serious sexual assault in St Peter's Gardens next to Huddersfield Parish Church at 3am on Sunday.
The man then fled towards the sorting office at the back of the main post office on Northumberland Street.
He was white, in his late 20s or early 30s and 5ft 8in tall, with a slim build and brown hair. He was wearing a white long-sleeved shirt.
