Witnesses plea

A MOTORCYCLIST was badly hurt in a road crash in Mirfield. The man, who has not been named, was taken to hospital after the accident in Huddersfield Road yesterday. Police have appealed for witnesses. The collision, between a Kawasaki and a green Skoda Fabia, happened about 8.15am at the junction with Stocks Bank Road. The biker was taken to Huddersfield Royal Infirmary. Police closed the road for over two hours.
