AN acne-ridden robber and his accomplice escaped with cash in a knifepoint raid at an Elland amusement arcade.

The two thieves walked into Sunset Amusements on Southgate in Elland shortly before 11.40am yesterday.

They asked for change for a £10 note and when that was given by the 48-year-old woman cashier, they asked her to help them with a machine.

When she left the cash booth they threatened her with a knife and escaped with a small amount of cash.

Both were white and wore black quilted jackets, black leather-looking gloves and blue jeans.

One had bad acne and short black hair combed forward and flicked up at the front.

He had a tattoo about the size of a 50p on the right side of his neck.

His accomplice has short, light brown spiky hair.

Det Insp Jeff Ashton, of Calderdale CID, said: "The descriptions of these two are excellent and we feel sure someone knows who they are."
