ARMED raiders stole thousands of pounds worth of women's designer clothes from a Huddersfield shop.

Three men smashed their way into the Sunflowers shop in Lidget Street, Lindley, at 10.40pm on Saturday night.

A fourth man stood in the road, with what seemed to be a gun in his hand.

The men grabbed clothes from the shop and bundled them into a Subaru Impreza car.

The car then drove off towards Halifax.

Jackets, skirts, shirts and jumpers, made by Oui, Kelo and Sand, were stolen. The men were all wearing dark hooded tops and ski-masks.

The car's number was H903 HTD, but the police believe the number plate was fake.

Police are appealing to anyone who knows where the Subaru or the clothes are to ring Huddersfield CID on 01484 436680.

Alternatively, people can phone Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 to remain anonymous.
