ARMED police swooped on a quiet village street after a man threatened a woman with a knife.
Officers and the West Yorkshire Police helicopter swooped on a home on Holmfield Close, Clayton West at 8.25pm on Tuesday after reports of a domestic disturbance.
A police spokesman said a man had entered the house, near to Kayes First and Nursery School, and threatened a woman at the house with a knife.
The man left when two members of the public intervened.
A man in his 40s was arrested at around 9pm and is in custody.
