A MUM shopping with her two young children stared down the barrel of an armed robber's gun during a terrifying raid in Huddersfield.
Yesterday evening, the 24-year-old mum was in Newspoint in Birkby with her two-year-old son and five-year-old daughter.
At about 7.50pm three masked men burst into the shop - one of who is pictured on CCTV above.
One of the men was armed with a sawn-off double-barreled shotgun, which he pointed at a 24-year old mum.
He then made demands for cash from the 22-year old man working behind the till while the other two suspects stood watch at the door of the shop.
An alarm was triggered and the suspects ran from the scene empty handed.
They were last seen running away down Bromley Road, Lindale Avenue and then on to Storth's Road.
No-one was hurt during the incident and witnesses have described the suspects as three men wearing dark clothing and balaclava's.
The man carrying the gun was around 6ft tall and of large build. He was wearing dark clothing and his jacket had an emblem on the right sleeve, which was possibly the Superdry logo.
A second suspect who stood by the door of the store during the incident was white, of medium build and wore dark clothing and a black hat and scarf.
The hat had a white logo on the front and his jacket also had a white emblem on the left sleeve.
The third suspect wore a grey hat and scarf across his face.
