ARMED raiders struck at a jewellery store in Brighouse today - a week after a previous unsuccessful attack.

Police said two men went into Neimantas Jewellers shop in Commercial Street at 9.05am and threatened staff with weapons.

No-one was hurt and it is not yet known what was stolen.

Police carried out a search with  dogs in the centre of Brighouse and also used the West Yorkshire Police helicopter to search roads around the town.

Last Friday robbers attacked the shop but left empty handed. Click here to read our story of that attack.
